Carlson Software

Carlson has been developing civil software for decades. They were contracted in the 90's by Autodesk to help them create a software solution for the surveying market.

The package they developed became know as 'Field Survey'. The 'Field Survey' product contained everything you needed to import the survey field book and create the plot plan. It contained a special OEM version of AutoCAD^® which allowed the surveyor to remain compatible with the others in the civil market using AutoCAD^®.

Carlson software has continued with the development and has updated their product and it is now called 'Carlson Survey'.
